My name is Crissy (Perez) Baumann, and I’m so grateful you’re here!


I launched My Tex Mex to share the treasured recipes of my combined Texan and Mexican heritage.

From an early age, I enjoyed helping my mother in the kitchen, but it wasn’t until I became a mom to twin boys that my passion for Tex-Mex cooking took flight. Now I’m on a mission to preserve these authentic recipes for future generations.
